I have so much for which to be thankful…
421. shelter during snowy/icy weather.
422. warmth during the same.
423. safety on the roads.
424. more situations that I do not understand, but I know He does.
425. new recipes from this.
426. husband who cooked the recipes.
427. good visit with new doctor.
428. new projects at work.
429. XC skiing for husband’s birthday.
430. new friends.
431. hosting an upcoming party – first of it’s kind since we moved here.
432. friends that care enough to check on me when they sense something is wrong.
433. wood burning fires.
434. charcoal grilled steaks.
435. clean floors.
436. melting snow and ice.
437. Whiter than Snow.
438. a new great-nephew.
439. trying something new.
440. glimmer of hope in Accounting II.
I think I am going to try something new…I am going to TRY and carry a notebook with me and write my gratitude during the week, as it happens. Years ago, I wrote down at least 5 things for which I was thankful before I went to sleep at night. Amazingly, I started to sleep better…or maybe NOT so amazingly. Anyway, I read that Annesta writes her gratitude during the week. I think I am going to give it a try.
My roller coaster ride hasn’t stopped, but He is helping me to see that I can hang on. He will take care of me.
Lord, thank you for all of it. The roller coaster, the snow and ice, the phone calls, everything…without You, I couldn’t make it. Please guide those I love in the situations and decision they are facing. Help me Lord, to accept your will…whatever it may be.
Good morning, Mary. Just wanted to hop over and let you know I am thinking about you today. Love your gratitude list. You do have so much to be thankful for. Glad you guys got to go skiing–how fun!
Have a good week!
Love you,
D.
Precious post, Mary. I am especially blessed by #432…friends that care enough to check on me when they sense something is wrong. Aren't friends just some of God's greatest gifts to us? As always, I'm blessed to have stopped here today to visit, Mary.
Whiter than snow. . . Amen!
It is so true that our circumstances my not change but our attitude can certainly make a huge difference. I am so glad that in the midst of all that is going on in your life you can remain grateful. God will surely bless you for your faithfulness. I pray that the little notebook idea helps. Let me know!
Take care, sweet friend.

Your list makes me smile. I love your faithfulness to count it all joy, Mary! I've been trying writing the gifts as I go about my day recently. I downloaded the sheets on Ann's blog and leave them out on the kitchen counter. It has definitely made giving thanks in the moment more frequent and intentional!
Hello Mary. I wanted to come back over here and answer your questions…yes, I make my own crust. It is such an easy recipe and takes so little effort. If you are interested, slip me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you. My sauce is "semi-homemade". In the summer when we have lots of tomatoes I buy the packets of Mrs. Wages pizza sauce mix and add it to my own tomato sauce, then can it. Each packet makes 5 pints.
Love your new background!
Have a wonderful week!
Great list, Mary 🙂 I really should write down the things I'm grateful for in a notebook too as a reminder of all my blessings. God is very good to me.
I loved your prayer!
