“Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 40:28-31
Do promises get much better than this?  As a Christian, can I ask MORE than this?  This is one of my favorite passages.  No matter what is going on in my life, no matter how tired and weak I am…His strength can and WILL get me through.
I was sick when I got home from California on Wednesday night.  Sick enough to go to the doctor on Thursday…just a virus, but it caused me to be very DIZZY.  My trip home was really rough from a physical standpoint, but at least I made all my connecting flights and arrived home when I was scheduled!!  Anyway…I thought of this scripture while in the Denver airport praying that I would have the strength to walk to my gate and board the plane without falling.  By the way…I did both!
I am much better but I feel like I have fallen behind in what I wanted to do with my last few days before starting my new job.  Oh, well…I know that He knows what is best…
My trip to California was good and seeing my son was great.  I have to remember that the Lord’s strength is perfect for this area of my life too because letting go isn’t my strong suit!  But I know that He (the Lord) has a plan I do not see, that He is in control and that He will not grow tired and weary, while we humans make our way in this life.
I start my new job on Monday…I hope you have a wonderful weekend.  I leave you with this video and song that so touch my heart
Peace and blessings….
