Sometimes I let my mind wander and I think about where I would be if I didn't let Daddy direct my steps. I don't stay in that thought for long because what I get is something very dark, lonely and very disturbing. The path Daddy has me on is very steep and narrow, but it is the only path I want because it is the only path where His presence is found.
Blessings,
<><
You are right…it is the only path where his presence is found…
Hi Mary
I love this verse from the Message translation. I can almost see the child looking up into God's face, reflecting the sunshine of His love.
Bless you
Mia
I love that, Mia…reflecting the sunshine of His love.
My feet on the life path…yes!
(Is that a Colorado photo?)
Thank you, an encouraging Sunday morning verse
Yes, Maureen it IS a Colorado photo. My husband took it while on a bike ride somewhere around Silverthorne.
Hi Mary, I love you picture and the verse you chose to place with it. Sunday Blessings on Ya today!
Thanks, Diane. Hope all is well with you!
"All radiant from the shining of your face." Reminds of the verse where we ask to "let the light of His face shine down upon us." Oh I want a face that is shining forth His glory this season!
I want that too, Barbie!
"Ever since you took my hand," That gives me a picture of caring, of trust and belief too. I don't reach my hand out to anyone if I don't know them or feel comfortable with them. It is a trust and an allowing.
How beautiful…a trust and an allowing.
Loved it. The photo, the Word … made me "whew" and relax instantly just as needed today. I'm a few days late in reading, but the post was exactly what I needed. Funny how that works in our present-day God-world, isn't it? Makes me smile.
