About

Hi! I’m Mary, and I’m so glad you stopped by.

I love dealing with details. I always have. For years I’ve assisted college administrators in planning events, overseeing budgets, creating promotional materials and managing campaigns that spanned different academic departments.

I’ve worked with many forward-thinking creative types who wanted to create, not be bogged down with tedious details.

Is that you?

Do you wish you had more time to create? Do you find yourself procrastinating certain pieces of a project that aren’t your strengths? Are you stressed out by the details of a project, details you could outsource to someone who knows you and understands your vision?

I can help.

Whether it’s formatting your blog posts, managing your social media or organizing your emails, let me deal with your details so you can get on with your life. You can find a partial list of the things I do on my Services page, or you can go ahead and contact me to start the conversation.

But seriously, I’m available to help with just about anything. Except carpooling or babysitting. You’ll need to find someone else for that.

While you’re here on my site, pull up chair, pour your favorite beverage and make yourself at home. You’ll find posts about my faith journey, healthy living and entertaining…yeah, I know, it’s quite a variety.

Mary and John

When I introduce myself to someone I’ve just met, I usually share the basics:

  • I’ve been married to my best friend John for over 30 years.
  • We have a grown son who is married to a beautiful young woman I am privileged to call my daughter.
  • After living 12 years in the Northeast, I moved to Charlotte, NC in 2019 but a part of my heart will always be in the Midwest.

After we exchange pleasantries and move on to deeper subjects, I share about some of the heartbreaks I’ve experienced. Things like the loss of a child, the loss of both parents, or a debilitating illness. But through it all, one thing remains constant:

The Lord’s comfort, peace and strength.

God used the tragedies of life that threatened to bankrupt my family and instead used them to deepen our faith and change us for the better. No matter what our circumstances, I KNOW He is good and is in control, and has a plan for everything that happens in my life.

And in your life, too.

Let’s walk our paths together and see what God has in store for us.
