I am the LORD your God,
who brought you up out of Egypt.
Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.
Psalm 81:10

I have had out of town company all week, so I only got a quick post in on Monday…I hope I still have some readers out there!
This morning in Daily Catholic Devotions Sr. Melannie Svoboda, S.N.D., reflects on how God feeds his people and nourishes them. She used the image of a parent feeding a child and then asks, “How does God feed me? Whom might I feed today?…Help me to nourish someone you bring into my life today.”  OUCH!  Help me to nourish someone YOU bring into my life today…okay, that hurts!  Yesterday evening I was NOT a good nourisher!!  I have had out of town company all week; they left yesterday afternoon.  Andy is home for spring break and I am not going into details, but my family had a squabble in the evening (we did seem to work it out) although, we all said things we shouldn’t have said.  I know we are not the only family that has episodes like this, but it doesn’t change the fact that it bothers me.  Sr. Melannie’s prayer really hit home this morning…Help me to nourish someone you bring into my life today. What a wonderful prayer!  But…can I DO that today?  Can I keep my mouth shut?  Can I say things that only He would have me say?  Can I just be patient and WAIT on HIM to do his work or will I be impatient and try to speed things along in my time frame?  I will probably do the latter more often, but I need to try and do the former.  I need to try and be patient.  I need to Open wide my mouth and let the Lord fill it…I NEED to nourish someone that comes into my life today…and that someone may be living in my house!
What about you?  Is there someone in your life that you need to nourish?
Thanks for stopping by and coming back, even though I have been gone most of the week.  Company is fun to have, but it is always nice to get back to the normal routine.
Peace and Blessings….
