This has been an experience…one that I will never forget and one from which I have learned some things! I finally got in the STATE of California on Thursday morning. However, I did not arrive at my original destination, but within driving distance of my sister’s and I could get a flight to there on Thursday. I could not be guaranteed a seat on a flight to my original destination until today and with the number of people stranded in Denver, I didn’t want to try to fly standby until Friday. I arrived yesterday in time to shower and we went to meet Andy for lunch…thank you, Lord!
When I have time to process this whole experience, I am going to share with you some of the lessons I learned. But for now here is another picture, taken on an early flight Thursday morning…
the clouds are puffy and white…just like cotton candy, only they look softer even than that. God’s creation is just amazing! I am so blessed to be able to experience His
AMAZING GRACE and MERCY in my life.
Lord, thank you for getting me here safely and thank you VERY MUCH for allowing me to have lunch with Andy.
I don’t know what the rest of my trips holds, but I wanted everyone to know that I finally arrived! Thanks for your comments and prayers…
Blessings and have a great weekend!
Oh, it does look like cotton candy and my heart was hoping so much that you made your Thursday luncheon with Andy. Praise the Lord! You did!
Can't wait to hear more about your trip but for now just relax knowing we all love you and wish you much joy during this trip.
Glad you arrived safely! You'll have to tell us about your trip when you get back. Be safe! ~ Grace and peace!
Hope you have a great time!
So glad that you finally made it, Mary! Definitely happy to hear that you had time to shower and still make the lunch date with Andy. I'm sorry that you've had such a hard time with the flying. I flew last Saturday from PA. to Boston…and then had a wonderful four hour drive home with my son to their place here in Maine. I pray that the Lord blessed your time with your son on Friday.
