For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.
Colossians 1:16
For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. Whether, then, it is I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.
I Corinthians 15:9-11
HE created all things.  HE created me.  HE created you.  HE created that which we see and that which we do not see.  I think the apostle Paul covered just about everything in this verse…therefore, if HE created it, then it must be worthwhile.  It must have some value.  It must be good.  Yet…I am NOT good.  Any goodness in me comes from HIM.
You know, sometimes when I am blogging I think, “this will make absolutely no sense to anyone.”  This is one of those times.  But, I feel led to share it anyway and I don’t know why.  I feel an overwhelming sense of God’s grace and love this morning.  Max Lucado used the verse from Colossians this morning, he (Max) has such a way with words.
I love the words in I Corinthians, But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect  HIS grace is truly an amazing gift.  His grace to me.  His grace to you.  His grace to all mankind.  The wonderful gift of HIS…AMAZING GRACE.

Lord, thank you for the gift of your grace.  Thank you for the gift of you Son and the gift of eternal life.  Thank you for bringing Andy safely home.  Thank you for the sense of peace I have.

Have a wonderful day.  I hope you have a peaceful and restful weekend.  Isn’t God’s gift of His grace truly amazing?
