I am back…tired, but home…

But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5-6

This verse really gets to me.  The more I have studied and prayed and read…the more meaningful this verse becomes…especially as I approach Easter Sunday.

Hopefully, more reflection on this later…I just heard a loud, continuous scratching noise in my laundry room…I am afraid bird or squirrels have gotten in my wall.  No, I do not live in an old house, yes, I have a cover on my dryer and bathroom vents and yes, said covers are still intact.  We do live in a area that was cornfields and the starlings are terrible, but this isn’t the same as the problems we have had before.  I was just getting into my reflection when the noise started.  John is coming home to deal with it.
My parent’s are doing fairly well, all things considered.  I had a great visit with them…played dominoes, put together jigsaw puzzles, just had a great visit.  I am very thankful that I got to visit….
gotta go deal with that noise!!
