He is before all things,
and in him all things hold together.
Colossians 1:17
I think of how he holds all things together, I see how straight the books are in the rack
and I think about how ordered my life would be if I just let him control everything…
instead of trying to do it myself.

You are righ, my friend. 🙂 Withholding control create a disorder that only God can put back, His way 🙂 Miss you! I know I've been away so long! Happy New Year!
The lines in your image are fabulous. And in a world that shouts and demands that we each do things our own way it is nice to hear someone finding beauty in His order and structure.
A beautiful scripture share. Have a blessed Sunday.
It can be scary to give control over to God, but when we do we realize that His control is more secure and trustworthy than if we kept it ourselves.
Good word!!

"In Him all things hold together," an encouraging, reassuring Word! Held securely in His hands – great photo to illustrate this, help us to see the truths. Thank you.
So thankful that He holds all things together, especially me in all of my disarray!
Yep. Me too. I'm always telling God how things should go. Surely he just shakes his head and waits for me to finish.
Hi dear Mary
Oh, I think you have voiced the cry of many, many hearts. Our Pappa allows us to walk around that mountain of trying to control our own life's quite a few times, but eventually He does help us along the journey! I am sooo… grateful for His patience.
Much love XX
Mia
Yes to let go is to trust more. Let's encourage each other to do that.
Great reminder of "our God of order." Thanks for sharing this, Mary!
Wonderful words of wisdom….
Wow! This is an incredible chapel–I've visited the Air Force Academy chapel but not West Point–oh, to let Him keep my life in order–great thought!
Yes! Sometimes it's so hard for me to keep my hands off of things! He doesn't need my help does he?
Does the word "AMEN" mean anything to you? I agree with you, and, yes, need to let HIM be the Leader/Guide/Ruler … not my fussy, busy, nananana life. Thank you.
