Lord, thank you for reminding me that you are with me, even as I get older, even as I find a gray hair and more wrinkles.
It is Monday…once again I add to my gratitude list. Read more at Ann’s place some things I am thankful for…
131. an answered prayer…again!
132. good friends.
133. good coffee.
134. red meat.
135. spring flowers.
136. rain.
137. sunshine.
138. spring nail polish.
139. FINALLY finding some new black dress sandals.
140. and some summer shorts.
141. an unexpected opportunity to share my faith while taking a walk.
142. evening strolls after dinner with my husband.
143. that the refrigerator didn’t quit until Sunday night!
I hope you have a great day…I discovered last night, just before bed that my refrigerator wasn’t working. I had company for dinner both Saturday and Sunday nights…thankfully, it worked until last night.
Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity you gave me to share with someone that while I do not understand the current circumstances in my life…I know you have a plan. I know you understand. Thank you for the challenges you have presented before me as I start my week…please help me have the strength to complete them.
What are you thankful for today?
Good coffee – I'm thankful for that one as well. Hoping your week gets better after dealing with the refrigerator issue.
I am thankful for good health. I just found out a friend of mine has cancer, so it has been a reminder not to take good health for granted.
Mary,
I love that verse! In light of my mom's recent heart attack and her recovery, it is so appropriate. There is nothing like seeing your once very active and vital mom slowly going down hill to bring my own mortality to the forefront! I have spent the last month as her caretaker and have seen that even in the tough times that she has been through, God has sustained her. I have seen His strength and power in her life. I have been encouraged by her faith. I have been encouraged by the strength that she has demonstrated through this whole difficult month.
I do join you in gratitude for the knowledge that God will never leave us and will always be near to us.
grace to you

Wonderful post. I'm thankful that you have so many things to be thankful for! Thanks for reminding me that He is with me all the time – actively participating in my journey.
I hope He won't mind that I'm going to colour my grays tomorrow morning . . . he he he.
I am thankful for doctors and medicines that make my child feel better today!
Yes, right there with us through it all — even again. Ack! 🙂
I love your list. I found a dress yesterday (actually two) after not buying one for several years, so I totally get that searching and finding. It is a fun blessing!
A wonderful list, Mary! I, too, am thankful for #141- those unexpected opportunities to share Him with others remind me how I must always be ready to give a gentle answer. Thank you for your kind and encouraging words on my blog!
