Yesterday I had lunch with Matt and his mom, Kathleen. Then Kathleen went off to an appointment and I was supposed to be able to play with Matt. Instead, Matt slept most of the time.
The coolest thing about the day…when Matt woke up, he saw me. He got up, walked into the kitchen looking for Mom. I believe he remembered she was gone and just wanted to be sure. He came back and laid down on the couch.
Just laid there quietly.
Even though Mom was gone, I believe he felt safe.
And it reminded me that even when we can’t see God in the circumstances, he is there and we are safe.

What is YOUR one beautiful thing this week?
I took Matt’s picture and it is used with the permission of his mother!
Love this!
ah, that's precious. 🙂
I was just thinking about the safety and security we have in God. As I began to worry slightly about something that might happen (hasn't happened yet) and what the outcome might be. What's the worst that can happen. God will provide.
Your friendship is one beautiful thing this week, that's for sure. Love this post, although I'm biased.
That's such a sweet picture! Kathleen's kids are all adorable!
Aww, so precious. I was going to join this link today but didn't get my act together, maybe next week. Thanks for visiting me today Mary.
