I am trying something today…listing 10 things for which I am thankful.

  1. The GIFT of salvation.  Ephesians 2:8-9  “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.” (NIV)
  2. My family – both immediate, extended and my church family.
  3. The Christian home in which I was raised.
  4. Shelter – a basic need, but many are without it.
  5. My job – frustrating sometimes, but again, many are without one.
  6. A warm bed.
  7. The trials I experience. I Thessalonians 5:18 “in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (NKJV)
  8. The opportunity to share my faith via this blog.
  9. You…the readers, especially those of you that let me know your thoughts.
  10. Another day to try and live my life as a reflection of the Savior’s love for me.

Lord, thank you for your son and the gift of salvation.  Please help me to live today in a manner that will show your love to others.
How about you?  What are you thankful for?
Have a blessed day….
