“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;
Worship Me in the beauty of holiness. I
created beauty to declare the existence of My holy Being. A magnificent
rose, a hauntingly glorious sunset, oceanic splendor—all these things
were meant to proclaim My Presence in the world. Most people rush past
these proclamations without giving them a second thought. Sarah Young, Jesus Calling July 30th
These words this morning reminded me of the beauty that is all around.

I’ve been blessed to experience these beautiful things this year. And I did not have to leave home to find the beauty. Some of these were taken right here at home.
Great photos, Mary. I could look at pictures like that all day.
Thanks, Kathleen. This was a fun post to put together.
Voyons, eusebien!Il y a une malice chez Le Caravage (il est mon peintre de prontilecdié, attention à ce que vous allez dire!) qui ne devrait pas vous échapper sans avoir besoin de recourir à Legendre !Respirez, et laissez-vous allez dans la toile !
Ah, beauty. Saw it in an unusual form.
I tried to do a bit of light sheet metal work today, but Sylvia the Big Pit Bull disagreed. She thought I was not well enough, so she started hiding my tools outside until I quit. Two c-clamps and my favourite mallet are still unaccounted for.
She can also shut off the drill press – she knows how the power switch works – and unplugging other tools is as easy as grab and PULL.
She knows I am dying, and she wants to slow down the process. If you'd like to see her picture, visit my blog, and look at the right-hand sidebar.
(We found her in a hot July field in Texas, with a broken him and a terrible infection…brought to the vet to be euthanized, she charmed everyone, and came home with us, thin but full of life…and she is now my service dog)

I love these images Mary. Glad your home and glad you had a beautiful rest.
Always wonderful to wake each day with reminders of HIS magnificent creations; don't forget to see HIM in the mirror too!
Such beautiful photos Mary. Today I saw beauty in the eyes of assisted living residents I visited with a ministry team. Such tender hearts. Hugs!
