I am very late this morning, but I did get some much needed sleep. I do not have to work today, but I have to get ready for my trip so I have plenty to do. I did receive an update on Katie, the young lady that developed a staff infection that spread to her organs after a routine OB/GYN visit. She is actually making some progress. They have drained some fluid off brain and she is trying to breath on her own a little. She was scheduled for heart surgery this week, but had a stroke and that has been put off. They are going to run some tests to see how much damage had been done to her organs. While things are still uncertain, they do not seem to be as grim as they were…her family and friends appreciate the prayers.
Jonathan, the 8 week old grandson of my co-worker, is not getting any better and won’t barring a miracle. Prayers for him will be appreciated too.
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop here. I will think of you while I am away and ask that you remember me. I am afraid that my parents are going to look significantly older than when I last saw them, even though it was only 6 months ago. I hope to be back on Wednesday, 3/31…maybe with some pictures of a different place!
Have a blessed day….
