Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
John 14:27

This was part of yesterday’s gospel reading…what a beautiful passage.  We are constantly looking for peace in our world, but true peace will only come from God above…when he is in charge of our life, when he takes center stage, when WE move over and let him.  The stresses of this life are many, yet He is the answer to a more peaceful existence.  He is the answer to all of life’s troubles.  He is waiting and willing to give me his peace and as His child, a member of His family, I need only embrace it.  It is there for the taking, waiting to be accepted.  We may look for peace in many different places, many different ways, but His peace is the only REAL peace.  Lord, please give me the peace I need about the things that trouble me in life.  Help me to embrace what you are trying to give me.

One of the ways to relieve the stress of this life is to count my blessings…so I continue on my way to 1000 gifts…

The wedding was beautiful.  The bride was lovely.  I remembered to take the camera, but couldn’t take pictures during the wedding because I was playing the piano and singing, but I planned to take pictures at the reception…instead, I left the camera in the car.  Maybe some of my relatives will send me pictures!  It was a gorgeous, sunny day and I believe my sister-in-law and her new husband are happy.
Don’t forget about my giveaway.  You still have time to enter!!
Lord, I have so much to do this week.  Please help me to seek your peace, to seek your face in all that I do.  Help me to see the trials as opportunities to grow and to experience something new on the other side.  Thank you for the time spent with family and for the child you left in my care that is now a young adult…thank you for the children you took home to you early in their life.  Help me to embrace your peace Lord….I know you are in charge…
I hope you have a wonderful day!
