“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was with God in the beginning. The Word became flesh and
made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory,
the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father,
full of grace and truth.”
 John 1:1-2, 14
I am not sure where to start…but I know this…one year ago today, I made my first blog post on this blog.  I cannot believe it has been one year!  172 published posts later I find myself amazed at the things I have learned from blogging and from the blogging friends that I have made.  I used to wonder how you have a “friend” you have never met.  Now I know!  I have asked for prayer for various and different things…you, my friends, have always delivered.  When I share from the heart, you graciously accept it without passing judgement – at least no judgement that I perceive!  Thank you…for the prayers, the friendship, the things I have learned from you.  From the bottom of my heart…thank you…very much!  My first post is still one of my favorites and you can read it here one of my other favorites is here.  The little girl mentioned in that post is about to have a birthday…Happy Birthday to my special friend KR.

I have not posted in almost two weeks…I was out of town for the Thanksgiving holidays and have been very busy trying to get back in the swing of things.  Thank you for your patience.  I cannot believe it is already December 1st!!!!!!!!  Where did 2010 go????  Is it really time for Christmas decorations????

I have 2 more accounting classes before my final and I got an 87 on my last test!! Can you say WOOOO WHOOO!?!?!?!  Considering I got a 71 on the first test and a 68 on the second test I am THRILLED.

Lord, the things you have done in my life since starting this blog continue to amaze me.  The things you have taught me and the friends you have brought me…both are exceptional gifts from you and I thank you.  I pray, Lord, that I as I enter the second year of my blogging that I let you lead me and guide me where you want me to go.  That I will always honor you with my life and my blog.  Thank you, Lord…for without you I am nothing.

Friends…again, THANK YOU!  For the encouragement, the prayers, the e-mails and notes…Natalie, I especially thank you for my special birthday present!  I think of you every time I wear it!

Peace and blessings….

“Prayer is not asking. Prayer is putting oneself in the hands of God, at His disposition, and listening to His voice in the depth of our hearts.”
